The Manitoba wolf (Canis Lupus Griseoalbus), also known as the grey-white wolf, is a possibly extinct subspecies of Canis Lupus native to the Southern Canadian states Manitoba, Alberta, and Saskatchewan. Its closest relative is the Hudson bay wolf. They went extinct in the early 20th century. The last wolf of Yellowstone was shot in 1926 and they have been reintroduced there in 1995.
