Black panthers
Black panthers are the melanistic color of any big cat. Black panthers in Africa and Asia are leopards and black panthers in the Americas are jaguars and maybe cougars. The reported leopard species are Africans, Indians, Indochinese, and Javans. In Australia, black panther sightings are frequently recorded in New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia. The Australian phantom panthers are said to be responsible for being threats to livestock. This is a black jaguar. Wild cats are usually found in all continents besides Antarctica as well as in Australia. Jaguars live from the Southern United States to Northern Argentina and leopards live in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Siberia as well as Eastern Europe including the Caucasus and Turkey. Cougars also live in the Americas such as Southern Alaska and Canada, USA, Mexico, Central, and South America. Cougars live everywhere in South America. The most endangered leopard species is the Amur leopard of Siberia, China, and Korea. If you want to learn about phantom cats, go to the October section and look for a post that says: Phantom Cats. Cougars, Jaguars, and Leopards are the big cats called "Panthers". In The Jungle Book, Bagheera is a black panther from India and he's actually a black Indian leopard.
