Scottish beavers
Beavers were hunted to extinction in Britain in 1526 for their fur and have been reintroduced to Scotland in May 28th, 2009. It kinda interests me that beavers used to live in Britain because Britain is a small island and beavers make dams. The Scottish government will decide if beavers will stay in Britain or not and the government says it has no plans to reintroduce wolves and lynxes. I was wondering if bears were absent from Britain. Beavers have also been reintroduced to other countries throughout Eurasia such as China, the Middle East, the Balkans, Italy, Portugal, Northeast England and Mongolia.
