The Texas bobcat (Lynx Rufus Texensis) is a subspecies of bobcat native to Western Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Tamaulipas, Nuevo Leon, and Coahuila. Like other native North American mammals like gray foxes, coyotes, raccoons, black bears, and cougars, they coexist in Canada, Florida, Texas, California, Wisconsin, Michigan, New Mexico, Arizona, Mexico, and maybe Central America.
