The California bobcat (Lynx Rufus Californicus), also known as the Sierra Nevada bobcat, is another bobcat subspecies native to California and Sierra Nevada. This subspecies can also be found in Southern Oregon. Bobcats can be found everywhere throughout the United States. The US subspecies in total are the Eastern, Nova Scotia, Florida, Midwestern, Merriam's, California, Mojave, Oregon, Northwestern, and Texas bobcats.
