Hercules was a trained grizzly bear from Scotland who appeared in a number of cameo roles for various TV productions, reaching the height of his popularity in the 80's. Hercules was born in 1975 and died in February 4th, 2001. He was owned by the Andy and Maggie Robin in 1976. Hercules grew quickly and in 1 year grew to a weight of 420 lbs. Andy, having wrestled a bear in Maple Leaf Gardens in 1968, hit upon the idea if adopting his own bear to create a star.
