Southern Rocky mountain wolf

The Southern Rocky mountain wolf (Canis Lupus Youngi) is an extinct subspecies of Canis Lupus native to the Southern Rocky mountains of Southeastern Idaho, Southwestern Wyoming, Northeastern Nevada, Utah, Western Colorado, and Northwestern Arizona and New Mexico. Its closest relative is the Northwestern wolf (Canis Lupus Occidentalis). It went extinct in 1942 and the Mogollon mountain wolf also went extinct in that year.
