Swift fox
The swift fox (Vulpes Velox) is a small light orange-tan fox around the size of a domestic cat found in the Western grasslands of North America such as Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. It also lives in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta in Canada. It is also one of the 7 canines that were once native to Texas along with the Coyote, Kit fox, Red fox, Red wolf, Gray wolf, and Gray fox. Its closest relative of course is the kit fox (Vulpes Macrotis). Both red and gray wolves historically live in Texas.
