The Hudson bay wolf is a possible subspecies of gray wolf native to the Northwest coast of the Hudson bay and Northern Keewatin. It was first classified as a distinct species in 1941. Edward Goldman described the Hudson bay wolf as being white colored, medium sized subspecies similar to the Arctic wolf but with a flatter skull.
