The Javan leopard (Panthera Pardus Melas) is a leopard species native to the Indonesian island of Java and is classified as critically endangered by ICUN since 2008. The population is estimated at less than 250 individuals, with a decreasing population trend. It is the only leopard species native to Indonesia. The Javan tigers are extinct there on the island but they might be alive still.
