Gigantopithecus

The gigantopithecus was the largest known primate standing about 10 ft tall and weighed around 1,000 lbs. When it would have encountered some of our relatives, it did not live in Asia around the time of modern humans. However, the gigantopithecus has now evolved into a mythical creature that have long been familiar with Bigfoot and not only Bigfoot, there are so many iterations of different ape like creatures from all over the world. The gigantopithecus also lived in North America.
