The Californian valley coyote or San Joaquin valley coyote is a coyote subspecies native to the lower Sonoran regions of the San Joaquin valley in California and it's a good thing it's least concern. It's similar to the plain coyote and mountain coyote but is smaller, darker, and has larger ears.
