Eurasian otter

The Eurasian otter (Lutra Lutra), also known as the European otter, Eurasian river otter, or common otter, is a European and Asian member of the Lutrinae or otter subfamily. It is native to Ireland, Britain, The Iberian peninsula, Southern India and Sri-Lanka, Shikoku in Japan, Sumatra, Taiwan, Southern Europe, The Amur region, and Northwestern Africa. This is an otter in Southwold, Suffolk in England. Many subspecies, such as the Japanese river otter (Lutra Lutra Whiteleyi) was driven to extinction.
