Spectacled bear
The spectacled bear (Temarctos Ornatus), also known as the Andean bear, Andean short faced bear, or Andean spectacled bear, is a vulnerable but possibly endangered bear native to the Andes mountains of South America. It is the last remaining short faced bear. The Florida spectacled bear or Florida short faced bear or Florida cave bear (Temarctos Floridanus) is a prehistoric ancestor of the Andean spectacled bear and lived in the Southern states of Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.
