The Texas margay (Leopardus Wiedii Cooperi) is an extinct subspecies of margay native to Southern Texas. This is actually a Marbled cat (Pardofelis Marmorata). The Texas margay became extinct in 1852, making it the 2nd feline to go extinct in recent times, after the Cape serval, which went extinct in 1816.
