Mexican black bear
The Mexican black bear (Ursus Americanus Eremicus) is an endangered subspecies of black bear native to Northeastern Mexico and Southwestern Texas. It is one of the 16 subspecies along with the Olympic, New Mexico, Eastern, California, Haida Gwaii, Cinnamon, Glacier, Florida, Newfoundland, Kermode, Louisiana, West Mexico, Kenai, Dall, and Vancouver island black bears. The gray wolves of Newfoundland and Kenai peninsula are extinct and the ones in Vancouver and some other places are endangered. This is a picture of a Mexican black bear cub.
