The New Zealand sea lion, also known as the Hooker's sea lion, is another endangered sea lion native to Southern New Zealand in the Auckland, Stewart, and Campell islands. There are 10,000 New Zealand sea lions left in the wild and that is just as endangered as the clouded leopard. It is locally known as "Whakaho" in New Zealand.
