Balkan lynx
The Balkan lynx (Lynx Lynx Balcanicus or Lynx Lynx Martinoi) is a critically endangered subspecies of the Eurasian lynx native to the Balkan peninsula. It is one of the 10 subspecies and is also one of the 2 endangered lynxes along with the Iberian lynx of Southern Spain. The rest of the subspecies are the Northern, Carpathian, Atlai, Caucasian, Siberian, Baikal, Sardinian, Turkestan, and Amur lynxes. There are only 35-40 Balkan lynxes left in the wild and that's just as endangered as the Amur leopard.
