Megalodon

Megalodon was the largest fish and also the largest predator to ever exist and it went extinct 1.5,000,000 years ago. the only things that fossilize from a shark are the teeth and scientists are trying to identify how big they were, what they ate, and what they looked like. The megalodon lived during the Pleistocene which is a lot more like the animated movie Ice age with saber toothed cats, sloths, mammoths, and other animals, and that squirrel Scrat and if Scrat went in the ocean, he would have been eaten by megalodon. Polynesian fishermen have long spoken a 100 foot long shark referred as "The lord of the deep", in Indonesia, locals believe a family of 75 ft sharks ruled the sea, and in Mexico, reports of a 65 ft shark they called "El demonio negro" the black demon. The word megalodon comes from the Greek word meaning "Big tooth".
