Australian red foxes

The European red fox poses a serious conservation problem in Australia. Current times indicate that there are more than 6.2 million red foxes in Australia. Red foxes were first introduced to Australia in 1871 as an effort to enrich the fauna like the raccoons in Germany. It is also considered to be one of the 100 worst invasive species.
