Vancouver island marmot
The Vancouver island marmot is a critically endangered rodent native to Vancouver island in British Columbia. They are the rarest of all marmots and there are only 25 left in the wild and that's more endangered than the Amur leopard. The Japanese black bear population is estimated to be around 20 individuals left in the wild.
