Mexican free tailed bat
The Mexican free tailed bat or Brazilian free tailed bat is a least concern medium sized bat native to the USA, Mexico, The Caribbean, Latin America, and The Falklands. This bat is the Falklands' only native bat. It is smaller than the European free tailed bat. These bats that live in the Falklands live in the Northwest and the great white sharks there live off the Southwest coast. Today, the Brazilian free tailed bat is probably the last surviving native land mammal of the Falklands. The culpeo or Andean fox has been introduced there.
