The Vancouver island wolf (Canis Lupus Crassodon) is an endangered gray wolf subspecies native to Canada's Vancouver island and Western British Columbia. They are endangered because they are shy and rarely seen by humans. There are also 2 Vancouver island wolves at the Greater Vancouver zoo.
