Bergman's bear

The Bergman's bear or God's bear (Ursus Arctos Piscator) is an alleged and probably extinct subspecies of brown bear that lived in the Kamchatka peninsula. The bear was identified and named by Swedish biologist Sten Bergman in 1920. The Bergman's bear weighed heavier than a polar bear and they ate a greater portion of salmon and the bears were known to eat just the heads of the salmon, simply discarding the rest.
