The Cozumel raccoon or pygmy raccoon is a critically endangered species of raccoon native to the Mexican island of Cozumel and is one of the 3 endangered animals of Cozumel. The raccoon goes by a variety of common names including the dwarf raccoon, Cozumel island raccoon, and Cozumel raccoon-bear. Mexico has a lot of raccoons and raccoons have been introduced to Barbados (extinct), Europe, and Japan.
