The Korean fox (Vulpes Vulpes Peculiosa), also known as the Korean red fox, is a subspecies of red fox native to the Korean peninsula and is now very rare. The fox has a body length of 66-68 cm, a tail length of 42-44 cm, and a weight of 4.1-5.9 kg. It is one of the 4 canine species native to Korea along with the gray wolf, dhole, and raccoon dog. Kumiho is the Korean word for fox.
