The Christmas island shrew or Christmas island musk-shrew is a critically endangered or extinct shrew native to Christmas island in Australia off the coast of Java. It was classified to be a subspecies of the Asian gray shrew or Southeast Asian shrew. It was declared extinct in 1985 or 2000.
