The Sulawesi bear cuscus or Sulawesi bear phalanger is a vulnerable species of marsupial native to Sulawesi in Indonesia. Marsupials live in the Americas including opossums, Australia, used to live in Antarctica 55 million years ago, and Asia including Indonesia. The cuscus is the only native marsupial to thrive in Sulawesi. There is another bear cuscus including the Talamud bear cuscus.
