Tecopa pupfish

The Tecopa pupfish is an extinct subspecies of the Amargosa pupfish native to the hot springs of the Mojave desert in California. It was declared extinct in 1979. When my dad was in class, he was learning about the Tecopa pupfish and he told me about it. Tecopa hot springs lies at an elevation of 430 cm about 2 miles North of the town if Tecopa in Inyo County, California.
