Louisiana black bear

The Louisiana black bear (Ursus Americanus Luteolus) is another subspecies of American black bear native to Louisiana, Eastern Texas, and Southern Mississippi as well as Arkansas. It is a threatened subspecies and is very similar to the Florida black bear. The black bear is the state animal of several US states. At least the American black bear is the commonest species of bear in the world! The American black bear is the state animal of Alabama, Louisiana, New Mexico, and West Virginia.
