Auroch

The auroch (Bos Primigenius) is an extinct subspecies of oxen native to Eurasia, India, and North Africa. The last one was killed in the Polish town of Jaktorow in 1627. The auroch and great auk are both one of the best known extinct animals and they both lived in The UK. There are 3 subspecies and they are the Eurasian, Indian, and North African. The Indian auroch went extinct in 9,000 BC and this is a live restoration of an Indian auroch.
