The Levantine wolf (Canis Lupus Deitanus), also known as the Iberian Levantine wolf or Spanish wolf, is an extinct subspecies of the European gray wolf native to Southern Europe. It wasn't currently recognized. These wolves were never seen in the wild. The date of extinction is in the early 1930's. They were much smaller than the other Iberian variety, Canis Lupus Signatus.
