Schmitz's caracal

The Schmitz's caracal, also known as the Arabian caracal, Indian caracal, or Persian caracal, is an extinct caracal subpecies native to Egypt, Central India, Saudi Arabia, Western Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Qatar, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Oman, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Southern Turkey, Southern Iran, and Northwestern India. It's a lot like the Cape serval of South Africa which is also extinct because their living relatives can jump high too. Caracals can be found in some parts of Asia and the ME like I said in my Cape serval post. That kind of short term of the M.E. stands for the Middle East.
