The salmon shark is a species of mackerel shark native to the Northern Pacific off the coast of California, Washington, Canada, Alaska, Kamchatka, Sakhalin, The Shantar islands, The Kurils, Korea, and Japan. It looks like a great white but with a flatter head and likes salmon.
