Japanese fox

The Japanese fox (Vulpes Vulpes Japonica) is a subspecies of the red fox native to Japan and there are more than 40 subspecies like Americans, Arabians, South Chinese, and other subspecies. Kitsune is a Japanese word for fox so in Japanese it's called the "Aka Kitsune". It's probably the smallest subspecies and its closest relative is probably the Sakhalin fox.
