The Giant cheetah (Acinonyx Pardinensi) is a prehistoric species of big cat more closely related to the modern cheetahs of Africa and Iran. It lived in Eurasia and there is another extinct cheetah of prehistoric times that belong to the genus Acinonyx called the Linxia cheetah (Acinonyx Kurteni). Its fossils were found in France, Germany, China, and India.
