Japanese badger

The Japanese badger (Meles Anakuma) is one of the 3 badgers that belong in the genus Meles. Like most animals in Japan, the badger is only found on Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu. They are least concern so that's good and they are so cute. The other badgers that belong in the genus Meles are the European badger (Meles Meles) and the Asian badger (Meles Leucurus).
