The Gregory's wolf (Canis Gregoryi), also known as the Texas red wolf, Gregor's wolf, Mississippi valley wolf, or swamp wolf, is a subspecies of gray and red wolf native to the Mississippi valley basin, Texas, Alabama, and Louisiana. It is one of the least known subspecies of Canis Lupus. Like the common red wolf and Florida black wolf, the Gregory's wolf is not related to any known species or the relation can't be proven.
