The Wolves are the secondary antagonists of the 2011 thriller film, The Grey. They are a vicious pack of wolves who prey on John Ottaway and an oil drilling team after their plane crashes in the wilderness of Alaska. One by one, the men are killed until only John Ottaway remains. After entering the wolves' den, Ottaway is approached by Alpha Wolf and in a final confrontation, Ottaway arms himself with a knife and broken whiskey bottles taped to his hands and charges at Alpha Wolf. In the post-credits scene, Ottaway's head is seen lying on the top of the panting wolf's belly, leaving both their fates unknown.
