Arabian wolf

The Arabian wolf (Canis Lupus Arabs) is an endangered Canis Lupus subspecies native to surrounding areas of the Arabian peninsula such as Southern Israel, Western Iraq, Oman, Yemen, Jordan, and the Sinai peninsula in Egypt. It is one of the couple Canis Lupus subspecies native to Africa and the Middle East. Gray wolves live in North America, Eurasia, and North Africa. The Arabian wolf, along with the Japanese (Honshu) wolf, are the smallest species of wolf ever to live. The Mexican wolf is the smallest of all North American wolves and the largest is the extinct 4 ft tall Kenai peninsula wolf. Unlike other wolves, Arabian wolves don't howl and travel in pairs. It was claimed to be a hybrid of a Gray wolf and African wild dog.
