Jersey devil

The Jersey devil or Leeds devil is a legendary creature or Cryptid said to inhabit the pine barrens of Southern New Jersey in the United states. The common description is that of a kangaroo like creature with the head of a goat, leathery bat like wings, horns, small arms with clawed hands, cloven hooves, and a forked tail. It was first reported in a Native American folklore and in 1735, a girl gave birth to a baby and said "Let it be the devil" so the Jersey devil might be out there. It is one of the strangest creatures in America. In 1909, there was a picture of a Jersey devil chasing a deer.
