Javan tiger

The Javan tiger (Panthera Tigris Sondaica) is an extinct tiger species that inhabited the Indonesian island of Java until the 1980's. In 1995, a Javan forester accidentally found a group of Javan tigers. It is one of the 2 extinct tigers that might be alive and the other tiger that might be living still is the Caspian tiger. It is one of the 3 tiger species native to Indonesia along with the Bali, which is also extinct, and the Sumatran, which is critically endangered.
