Asiatic lion

The Asiatic lion (Panthera Leo Persica), also known as the Indian lion or Persian lion, is a lion species that now only exists in Northwestern India and is listed as endangered. There are 520 individuals left and they mostly hunt buffalo. There are 109 males, 201 females, and 213 cubs. Its mane is smaller and darker than the African's. There is a reserve park is northwestern India for the Asiatic lion.
